Each year, 200 runners make the journey from Hopkinton to Boston to support nutrition, medical, and fitness programs at Tufts University, including research on childhood obesity at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. The President's Marathon Challenge is the largest known collegiate marathon program in the United States, attracting runners from around the country.
