Cross Training; pros and cons

The following two links deal specifically with the myths of cross training, and illustrate that specific athletic activities respond to those skills used in that particular sport...The first one is more fact/research oriented, while the other deals with generalities..both are good....it is not that cross training will harm your primary sport...it does not (simply stated) enhance it physiologically or neurologically!
