Run with the Herd!
Join the stampede in the second annual Homecoming 5k road race! Thunder through campus, running past memorable highlights of your Tufts experience: painting the cannon, attending class on the academic quad, cheering on the Jumbos at Ellis Oval, and kissing under Bowen Gate. The Jumbo Stampede is a 5k run that launches you up atop the Hill and then leads you down through campus to the outdoor track, where you’ll finish like a rock star to the cheers of fans in the stands.
Open to students, alumni, faculty, staff, and Friends of the University, this 5k run is sure to be a spirited sprint into homecoming festivities! Special prizes will be awarded for runners with the most school spirit and the best costume, so dress to impress!

Advance Registration
$15 for current Tufts students ($20 after 9/24)
$20 for Tufts alumni, faculty, staff & friends ($25 after 9/24)

$5 of each registration fee will be donated to support Tufts undergraduates who are utilizing financial aid.

Running not your thing? We’d love to have your help! We’re looking for volunteers to help with registration, staff water stations and manage key positions along the course. Email jumbostampede@tufts.edu or call 1.800.THE-ALUM to sign up.
* All registrants and volunteers will receive a Jumbo Stampede t-shirt. Sign up early to ensure you receive a shirt in your preferred size.
