Graduation Year: 2011 Born in Montreal, Canada. Graduated from ESMC in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Completed two B.Sc. at Ottawa University before entering Dental School at Universite de Montreal. Completed his DMD under the Canadian Forces Dental Services' Program. Served with CFDS at Greenwood Air Base and with the Navy on board HMCS Provider. Opened the Cap-Pele Dental Health Centre, New Brunswick, in 1997. Currently working towards his Master's Degree at Tufts School of Dentistry, with the Craniofacial Pain Center under the guidance of Dr. Noshir Metha. BlogPage 1 2 3 4 5 6Tue Nov 03 07:19:12 EST 2009 Marathon Luc Gallant 1st Edition Sunday November 1st 2009 The sky was grey, the rain was dropping from the heavy clouds, yet my spirit was high for I was about to run. As the starting time approached, the clouds disappeared and let the sun shine! What a beautiful day and a great course! The race took place on the trails of theKouchibouguac National Park, New Brunswick, Canada. It was awsome, the scenery was just beautiful, the people, I will return next year. I used this half-marathon (there was also the full) as a training run to gage my pace. My goal was to run 5 minutes K, which I did, finishing in 1h52. Aside from the blisters on my toes, I felt very good and not tired. I know I could have pushed a little harder and be closer to 1h30, but since this was my first race since my injury last spring, I wanted to be careful. I can't wait to run again tonight (mind you a shorter distance) and push more, for speed, this time... A simple 8K at a relaxed paced, no watch, no timming, no ipod, only the road and me... and the traffic... once again, please do not try to text behind the wheel!
